Gernot Wagner, Germany
Double Top (Ex Jason Vieaux)
spr.Nomex ced. soundboard
Overview: Offered here is a magnificent, very powerful, very rare concert guitar with a particularly warm, creamy, even sound by the great German master, Gernot Wagner. This guitar has had one owner, 2015 Grammy Award winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux. Mr. Vieaux writes:

"From 2005 until recently I performed all my orchestral, chamber, and solo concerts around the world on the Gernot Wagner double top classical guitar offered here. Recently I purchased a second Gernot Wagner double top guitar. I now perform and record exclusively with this second Wagner guitar."

"In 2014 I recorded my entire 2015 Grammy award winning Azica CD Play with my first Wagner guitar, the guitar for sale here. I also recorded my CDs: Piazzolla (2011) and Jason Vieaux - Bach Vol. 1: Works for Lute (2009) with this guitar."

"My first Gernot Wagner double top guitar, the guitar offered for sale here, has superb projection; a magnificent warm, clear, balanced sound in all registers; strong fundamental tones; lovely complimentary overtones; an unusually large color palette; a very fast response to large and small changes in dynamics and attack; and a very comfortable neck profile and action set up."

Included with the sale of this unique guitar will be a letter of provenance signed by Jason Vieaux, a signed copy of his 2015 Grammy award winning Azica CD Play, and signed copies of Mr. Vieaux's CDs' Piazzolla (2011) and Jason Vieaux - Bach Vol. 1: Works for Lute (2009). Jason Vieaux recorded all three of these CDs in their entirety using this 2005 Gernot Wagner double top guitar.
