Evan Taucher (USA) American guitarist Evan Taucher is making a statement in the classical guitar world as a performer and educator both onstage and online. He is recognized worldwide not only by his international competition and concertizing career, but also his ability to reach audiences beyond just the classical community. As a resulr, he has amassed a large following on the internet an indispensable tool to further music education and discovery.

During his two years of study with the Cuban virtuoso Rene Izquierdo, Evan Taucher won eight separate prizes in professional competitions throughout the United States. Recent concert engagements include a concerto performance with the Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra under the baton of KuanFen Liu, the 2022 Long Island Guitar Festival, the 2022 Colorado State University Artist Series, and the 2020 Southwest Guitar Symposium.

Evan Taucher holds degrees from Florida State University (BM), UWM Milwaukee (MM), and the University of Texas at Austin (AD). As a Magellan scholar, he studied in Alicante, Spain with many of the foremost luminaries of the classical guitar world. He co-founded the non-profit Ex-Aequo, and maintains a private studio of passionate students in Austin, Texas. In addition, he has recorded courses for online education giants such as Truefire, PickupMusic and JamPlay.
