Hear Petra Polácková (Czech Republic) perform Prelude No. 4 by
Heitor Villa-Lobos on a Gregory R. Miller classical guitar.
Overview: We are delighted to offer Gregory Miller's beautiful concert guitars to our customers. Mentored by world-renowned guitar maker Jeffrey R. Elliott, Gregory Miller is an exceptional talent.
Miller's magnificent sounding, visually stunning concert guitar have impressive reserves of power. They are also quick to project the quietest, most delicate pianissimos. Their smooth, creamy trebles and firm, deep basses are round, clear, and responsive to a wide range of color and attack. Their fundamental tones are uniformly solid and beautifully complemented by rich, well controlled overtones in all registers. The result: This guitar's perfectly balanced sound sparkles up and down and across the fingerboard. Voice separation is excellent as is harmonic blending.
The neck of this guitar is expertly shaped; the guitar's string response and action are quick and unusually comfortable. Workmanship and materials rank among the finest we have seen. In sum, this wonderful instrument represents a remarkable value in a traditional sounding, exceptionally musical classical guitar. (
