The Visesnut hardshell case is small (fits in most standard overhead airliner storage bins), light (weighs only seven pounds), and strong.

The Visesnut case's body is made from a unique double wall structure designed to absorb impacts and insulate from extreme temperature changes. The handle is large, comfortable, and made of leather for flexibility and durability. The 4 locking latches are stainless steel and the back pack straps (included with the case) have very secure locking nut “D” rings, tested to withstand a one hundred pound drop test. There are no protruding latch parts to impale a guitar if the lid accidentally closes while removing or replacing an instrument.

The Visesnut case lid stop strap is designed to ensure that the case lid remains open when removing or replacing a guitar; there is also a redundant lid support stop on each nickel plated brass hinge. The case's exterior bumpers are cushioned durable plastic widely placed on the case to ensure stability when the case is standing in either a vertical or horizontal position. The lid and body meet with a special cushioned gasket which seals humidity inside the case, repels outside precipitation, and secures contact between the case lid and body. This feature assures superior case strength and integrity in the event of severe exterior shocks and blows.

The case's interior is lined with a soft plush material and a unique adjustable cushioned suspension system which allows the case's side padding to be adjusted via a support belt to fit the outline of just about any standard and many smaller size classical guitars. Whether you have a very large bodied Ramirez 1a or a petite smaller bodied Torres, the interior can be adjusted in seconds to hug a guitar's sides by using the case's unique velcro adjustment straps located in the case pocket. Once adjusted, these straps maintain the shape to which they were fitted. There is no need to re-adjust these straps unless you wish to insert a different size guitar into the case. This adjustment feature is unique to Visesnut cases.

The neck supports are completely cushioned and gently support a guitar's neck in all directions when the case is closed. This feature protects a guitar's headstock from dangerous shocks in the event the case is dropped. The interior accessory compartment has a soft hinged lid which is easily removable with a Velcro attachment.
