Overview: Christopher Dean is one of England's and Europe's foremost, most sought after makers of fine handmade classical guitars. With their lush, unusually responsive, well focused, colorful, traditional sound, these powerful concert guitars remind us of the David Rubio guitars with which the legendary Julian Bream made some of his finest recordings in the late 1960s.

From the guitar offered here expect quick clear creamy trebles, deep rich cello-like basses and perfect balance. Most recently, Tilman Hoppstock, the Eden Stell Guitar Duo, and the Vida Quartet have purchased Dean's lovely instruments. Other notable artists to perform and record on his guitars include Simon Dinnigan, Michael Cedric Smith, Nicola Hall, Forbes Henderson, and Gilbert Biberian.
