This is a magnificent sounding, extremely rare, very powerful spruce/cedar composite double-top concert guitar by the great German master, Gernot Wagner, the inventor of the innovative Nomex-double-top construction process (first popularized by his friend and colleague, Matthias Dammann). Jason Vieaux, Marco Feri and Susana Prieto and Alexis Muzurakis of Duo Melis are just four of the internationally acclaimed concert artists performing and recording with Gernot Wagner double-top classical guitars.

Capable of projecting to the back of the most challenging concert hall, Gernot Wagner's double top guitars are among the most powerful, finest projecting classical guitars in the world. More to the point, they are the most sonically beautiful, most natural sounding of the new generation of super guitars: lush round clean well focused well balanced sound through all registers, smooth creamy tonal transition from note to note, quick response, broad color palette, excellent separation, sustain, depth and density of sound. In sum, these unique instruments represent a significant contribution to refined music making on the guitar and to the art of lutherie in general. No wonder one of our delighted customers proclaimed about his new Wagner, "I believe I have found the golden fleece of concert guitars." These premium concert instruments are an excellent choice for concerto and related ensemble work where electronic amplification is either artistically undesirable or impracticable. With a waiting list of many years in Europe and an output of less than ten guitars a year, Guitars International is privileged on rare occasion to offer to our customers a new example of this consummate artist's work.
