Incorporating as it does both Joshia de Jonge's new back bracing system and the unique musical characteristics of African blackwood, this instrument possesses yet even greater projection and tonal beauty than the many wonderful instruments we have received previously from this gifted guitar maker. Its powerful first string is round and clear, firm, and very quick and alive - as are all its strings. Its deep resonant basses are rich and solid - perfectly in balance with their treble counterparts. This is an exceptionally musical, very powerful and articulate, player friendly, world class, concert guitar which combines a highly appealing warm, creamy signature sound with a wide palette of color and attack.
