Ind. with spr./Nomex/spr. soundboard
German master guitar maker Achim Peter Gropius is one of Europe's most exciting younger makers of individually handmade classical guitars. His traditional spruce signature sound is on the darker side of the spruce spectrum, warm, very focused, and round: smooth powerful trebles, midrange and bass with impressive density and depth of sound. Perfectly balanced throughout their entire pitch and dynamic ranges, these lovely guitars respond with great finesse and beauty to both subtle and broad changes in color and attack.
In sum - beautifully proportioned, lovely to look at, easy to play - Gropius' classical guitars exude an inspired and inspiring singing tone which is quite special. Moreover, Gropius's instruments still represent a tremendous value in a wonderful, innovative, world class concert instrument. (Learn more)
