Manuel Velazquez is the U.S.'s first internationally acclaimed master classical guitar maker.
A living legend, he counts among his influences Torres, Hauser I, and Santos Hernandez (to whom he is related). Manuel Velazquez's concert instruments are revered for their unusually pure tonal beauty, perfect physical proportion, and superb materials. Clients include Rey de la Torre, Sabicas, and Pepe Romero.
Today, Alfredo Velazquez, a guitar maker of singular talent in his own right, lovingly honors and advances his father's Legacy.
Materials: Perfectly quarter sawn CSA from 1940, very old master grade European spruce soundboard with close straight grain and extensive medulary ray cross grain silking, mahognay neck, Rodgers precision tuning machine heads (the finest in the world), oil varnish finish, immaculate workmanship, 650mm string length.
